Daddy, Mommy and Daughter
Christmas Card for 2020.

Arista Mozena
Freshman in College

Dear Friend:

This website was inspired by a Christmas CD I created with my daughter for our family, friends and business clients 15 years ago.

It is a celebration of my now 18 years of Mozena Family Christmases, with help from my at-the-time 3 ˝ -year-old daughter Arista, now 18 ˝ years old. She is a freshman at the University of Oregon, living in a dorm there, majoring in Theatre. She loves to entertain people like I do. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Listen to the Christmas CD tracks below, especially Arista, at the age of 3 ˝, singing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." See Christmas CD Cover at the bottom of this homepage.

Now to walk back in time a bit, during her first year of high school, Fall 2016, freshman year, at 14 1/2 years old, Arista was given a Christmas present by Santa, an opportunity to have two more additional songs produced. This time, they were pop songs. Here they are below for your listening pleasure.

"Riptide" (4:21) Arista Mozena
2.
"Let it Go" (3:23) Arista Mozena

Let's jump back farther into a Christmas past, when Arista was 8 years old, and sang the Christmas song "Jolly Old St. Nicholas"; Arista even sang for Santa Claus on-air.

In fact, Santa Claus had even heard about Arista's lovely song about him and interviewed her on KOST Radio at FM 103.5 in Los Angeles in 2010. You can listen to both the song and the interview right here:

2.
"Santa Calls Arista" (2:38) Radio Interview

With that said, we hope one day Arista's "Jolly Old St. Nicholas" will be put into the music rotation by the management and program director at KOST fm 103.5 in Los Angeles with their about one-month-long rotation, because that's where she originally spoke and sang to Santa. Moreover, now that my daughter attends the University of Oregon, maybe the radio management at the local radio station will play Arista's “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” during their Christmastime music rotation, at the radio station 98.1 The Valley Radio and/or 99.1 KOOL Radio.

In the meantime, maybe you can attend one of her upcoming theater productions at the University of Oregon, or even right now, you could be entertained by Arista at her Youtube channel at ARISTACAT101. You may want to subscribe to it. Also, there is her newly created podcast at K-DramaPop where you can tune in to it.

For me, on the other hand, I am not a professional singer or musician. Although my daughter reads music and plays instruments, I cannot play any instruments, though I have a good ear for music. Despite this, I made the CD because I love singing, and I love Christmas. I hope you enjoy the music

Moreover, my daughter and I had a Daddy and Daughter Christmas Concert. See program of Christmas Card adjacent to this paragraph.

We sang at a number of nursing homes during their activity time around the Christmas season.

See the photo of me and Arista with microphone in our hands and Arista in the dazzling pink and green Christmas dress, handmade for the concerts.

Below is the audio of the Christmas Concert hosted by my now deceased friend and former program director and boss, Matt Maciejewski, known professionally in the radio industry as R.C. Rogers.

It brings me great pleasure to enable you to listen to R.C. Rogers as the Emcee of the Mozena Daddy and Daughter Christmas Concert.

"Doctor" Steve Mozena of KLZI
Here I am in the late 80s as the morning radio personality "Dr." Steve at FM 100 KLZI, hired by R.C. Rogers.

Isn't the Christmas season the very best time of year?

The CD and now the website is from my heart, an expression of love for my daughter Arista.
I made the CD primarily for my family, friends and business clients to enjoy, but then I thought that others might enjoy it, too. So, I created this website and posted the songs here. It is for FREE, from me to you as a Christmas present every year, and with love from the entire Mozena family: Steve, Lucille and Arista Mozena.

I hope it will bring you much happiness this Christmas season and all future Christmas seasons.

In all my activities in life, I try to spread as much happiness as I can. And that's what this Christmas season is all about. Peace on earth, goodwill to all men and women. I wish we could have the spirit of Christmas all year round. The world certainly needs it. There are so many people who are unhappy. There are so many people around the world who are deprived of even the essentials of life.

I am fortunate. I have been blessed most of my life. Nevertheless, it has been a tough couple of years professionally and personally. I truly have experienced evil to its rotten core. Despite that I have been working through the tough times, and still am. My wish is that in this Christmas season and all Christmas seasons, everyone, the whole world over, should be enfolded in the arms of love, and may that love last long after the Christmas celebrations and gift-giving are over.

In order to hear all these songs, you don't need to purchase the CD. You can download my songs from this website to your computer, smartphone, or tablet, and even check them out on Spotify or surf to our website www.daddyschristmassongs.com on your flat-screen TV for your enjoyment along with your family and friends for this Christmastime. If you like the songs, please share them with family and friends. You can even attach them as audio files in an email to your loved ones.

The price for the entire "Daddy's Christmas Songs" is FREE here on the website, of course, without the CD and the inside jacket.

Check out my other website www.karaokechristmasontheradio.com about my "Karaoke Christmas on the Radio" CD by me, Steve Mozena, with my daughter Arista Mozena as well. This was inspired by American Idol. It just seems like it would be fun to hear friends and relatives singing Christmas songs on local radio stations around Christmas, even one day like – Christmas Day. Still no radio stations yet, but I'm still hopeful!

To that end, see the TV/Cable commercial ad I did to promote the original CD Here’s the YouTube link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaDML5mybd8

Finally, for the Christmas season, you might enjoy using my song "Do You Hear What I Hear?" as a Christmastime ringtone for your cell phone. Honestly, according to many, including me, the ringtone is great, but I also think the full-length song is my best song.

I wish the Merriest of Christmases to everyone, everywhere, and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas, Steve
